She took a shy boy with very little confidence and helped turn him into a boy that believed he could achieve more than he thought possible. He was below grade level in reading and everything was a struggle for him, we thought about holding him back a year. She taught him skills that has made such a difference in how he approaches his school work, he's more organized, he thinks things through and has learned to be accountable for his school work and behavior. She saw so much potential in him that others had overlooked and worked with him to help him grow. By the end of the year he was exactly where he was supposed to be, but what I saw in him was more than his academics improving, he finally had confidence in himself academically!"
